Hiii lovely, good day to you :), I must say it has been a while since you and I met here right?

Do not mind my inconsistency; I need beating, I know. But I’m here now, aren’t I??

So, what do I have for you today? Yesterday, was the 14th of February (Valentine’s day) right?

How did yours go dear, how did you have a great day irrespective of whether or not you were given a gift by your special one?

As for me… I do not celebrate Valentine’s, however, I just wanted to check up on you.

Hope your mates; friends and colleagues with their lovers didn’t pressure you so much that you wished you had someone to spend the day with or someone to surprise you with gifts... It’s OKAY!

“Na single you single, you no kill person.”

You may be single but you are not stupid, okay ?.

By the way, before I continue, guess what?

On one faithful day, a friend of mine and reader of my blog: that had never spoken to me before in real life even though we are in the same school ?‍♂️, walked up to me and told me that he had been keeping up with my blog and has been reading it sometimes;

In his words (paraphrased), “I must say your blogs are nice, you’re doing well”

So, I am just using this moment to blush even more ???( because I was also blushing like fish when he said so… come and see me ??‍♂️.)

And also thank you dear reader for your honest feedback… I really, really appreciate it.

So, what does it mean to be really SINGLE?

Being single sometimes can be heartbreaking, sad, lonely, frustrating, depressing and so on but you will agree with me that being single is so much better than staying in a toxic relationship, right?

I mean, peace of mind is the goal (all day long)!

To me, I have always miscalculated my singlehood, so that’s why I decided to take the basics today 🙂

But, before I continue, quick question: When do you start saying you are SINGLE?

Every now and then, I usually think to myself that I am now single, immediately I leave a relationship, and if I may end up dating or going on a date with some other guy in the process of this my “singlehood” I do not count it as a relationship because:

• we didn’t put a title or name on it
• we weren’t exclusive
• It didn’t last long or seem so serious.

Now when I was there in my mind thinking I had been single for 2 years and a half now, I was also with those in-between guys whom I tagged as “unofficial”.

Well, let’s forget about my history and life story, and let’s talk about you:

Do you also make the same mistake back then or still doing it?

But on a serious note: SINGLE simply means when you are no longet in a relationship. Whether a “fling” or “no title yet exclusive” relationships.

So that means, those guys or girls you had in between your single years, you should count them as something.

Whether you thought it was love or it could work but then it didn’t, just EMBRACE it either way.

As for me, at this time of my life, I truly just want to be single and alone so that means I MUST:

• Avoid flings & dates
• Every relationship I have must have a purpose and TITLE
• Stay happy by EXPLORING places, and food and trying new things
• Work hard to achieve my goals not for an “us” but for “me” and my family too.
• Stay single and HAPPY 🙂

With these few points of mine, I hope I have been able to convince and not confuse you on what it truly means to be SINGLE ❤.
